Flatpak is a good thing for Arm64 ,but may have some problem on CM5
As we know ubuntu on cm5 is using panfork for GPU by patched mesa.
but flatpak has their own mesa without panfork patched.
So some app (like video player or game) install from flatpak can not running with GPU. and Maybe toooo slow.
But for wechat its fine.

看了下更新的 mesa，原来用的还是 panfork。
我说拷贝了 panthor 的 firmware 启动黑屏。
@berkaroad 对比了 config ，感觉的确很多都没开启支持。
需要自己写进配置文件

我对比了新景象和原来的配置文件，发现一模一样。
明天上班了做个启动U盘看看有没有声卡问题。
已经编译了内核，用上了，不过发现个问题：声音输出写的是耳机，但是从喇叭出声，插了耳机依然是喇叭出声，不知道是哪里需要配置。
麦克风依然不可用。

但前提是你需要编译内核，启用intel的驱动模块，并且把官方intel的固件拷贝进去就行了。
coolpi默认屏蔽了intel
看了下 ppa 也更新了 mesa
是不是我编译这个内核

@nosorrow 你把你更新失败的信息贴上来很难吗？开头忽略的原因有很多，谁知道你是因为源配置错误，还是压根没联网？还是因为用的是国外的源被屏蔽了？
想解决问题要先把你遇到的问题描述清楚好不好，光在这里有一句没一句的说，大家压根没法帮你。
你贴个日志或者截图出来行么，还有你更新源之前确保你联网了吗？DNS 配置正常了吗？

Tried to compile mesa-panfork under Fedora 40. Finally make it work.
But seeem fedora arch64 still have some stable issues with rk3588 support. especially kernel 5.10 and panfork. maybe fedora arch64 is make to working with arch64 mainline kernel. not Kernel rockchip bsp.
Move back to ubuntu and will try it next time.

Have you updated your mesa from apt source?
Like the post you linked said. You have to keep mesa version with coolpi ppa if you want hardware accelaration.
Kernel 5.10 is using panfork, Which is specific mesa version needed.
If you want newer version mesa you have to switch to kernel 6.10 and use panthor driver instead.
@prcups It seems same to me while I trying to make Fedora with panfrost.
About sound issue, Try to check alsamixer and unmute "left headphone mix" or "right headphone mix " something like that.
This works to me with kernel 6.1 under ubuntu.

最近研究了一下内核还有panfrost相关的，说点个人想法和建议。
目前看来好像 coolpi 官方是想要尽快把设备支持推到主线内核里，包括 panthor 的支持，但是我又看到有种声音是说 panthor 的性能不如那个 panfork
而且很多人为了追求 panfork 的 gpu 性能也是搞出了 kernel 6.1 + panfork 的，比如

所以这个 panfork 的性能真的差距那么大吗？panthor 我目前用感觉还好，不过还没抽空测试游戏什么的。
@nathan yeah. speaker and headphone jack working now.
First you have to compile latest version of kernel 6.1 from coolpi.
And commet out some alsa related in /etc/rc.local
Then boot into system. type alsamixer in terminal. F6 to select sound card.
Use " M" key to unmute left headphone mix and right headphone mix something like that.
Then speaker is working.

No issues with suspend.
